Hijab is a symbol of our worship and servitude to God. It is a symbol of modesty, that is not just about our attire; but our actions & behavior.
We live in a society that teaches the EXACT opposite. In our society today, modesty is viewed as a sign of weakness and insecurity, when in fact modesty is a sign of dignity and self-respect. For sisters who wear the hijab and/or for sisters that may consider the hijab: First and foremost you must realize that you are doing this for ALLAH(SWT) and nobody else, you must truly realize the meaning of hijab by showing it through the way you act and the way you dress. Hijab is COMPULSORY; Dont think society will judge me or I wont look beautiful rather think of the hereafter, think of the beautiful heavens awaiting for you, think of all the sawab that you can get. Hijab is referred to as a “personal choice” Of course its a personal choice. Its a personal choice to submit to Allah rather then the fashion of society. Sisters think about it, this dunya isn’t worth it. If I said anything wrong, I apologize and If i stated anything beneficial it was by the will of Allah :)
May Allah swt protect us and guide us all & give us the strength to follow his commands and spread our knowledge to others.
